    In depth

    Verdict

In Dubai can make experience count over Rock of Cloonavery, with Ned Ludd and Crested perhaps worth noting for the future. In Dubai has the best public form on offer, having posted a third over an inadequate six furlongs on her Leicester debut before finishing a creditable fourth on soft ground at Goodwood a month later. The step up to seven furlongs helped, and a closer inspection of that form reveals that Alexandrova was just a head in front of her in third. Aidan O'Brien's filly went on to bolt up at Tralee next time before going down just a short-head to Nannina in the Fillies' Mile. On that evidence, In Dubai is going to be very difficult to beat here, with another furlong likely to be even more in her favour. Rock of Cloonavery shaped well when third on his Chester debut but does not have as much class as the selection, while Ned Ludd ran well at Sandown before having his limitations exposed in Listed company at Newbury. Crested was much the less fancied of a Godolphin duo that lined up at Yarmouth three weeks ago and ran accordingly but could easily improve. Not enough though to trouble In Dubai who should get favourite backers off to a flying start.
