Verdict
It will be interesting to whether there is any market support for John Akehurst's Polmaily on his reappearance with the gelding having his first start over six furlongs since his debut outing as a juvenile but a safer bet looks to be OUR BLESSING, who gets the vote ahead of Gwilym. The Derek Haydn Jones-trained gelding has run well in defeat in recent starts on the Polytrack and has every chance if able to reproduce the same level of form back on turf. Tony Carroll has his string in good order and his runner Red Rudy is another that has been in good form on the Polytrack of late so he has to be considered. Chris Wall's Luminous Gold would probably prefer a faster surface and preference is for Our Blessing. The five-year-old made an encouraging reappearance at Kempton recently when not beaten far behind Compton Classic and he has solid claims racing off the same mark today.
