Verdict

Go Now Go Now has twice got the better of Saturday’s Sandown winner Crownthorpe in handicaps recently so deserves the utmost respect having travelled down from Middleham. But Kempton winner ICONIC SUNSET (NAP) has already gone close over an extended 7f on Turf so should be suited by this first try over a mile and gets the nod. Shazzab beat Simpson on debut in June but the latter was making his debut that today, though this will be his first try beyond 6f. Bombshell Bay was beaten off a lower mark at Chelmsford last month and returns to a higher grade for this.
