    Verdict

Richard Hannon's Fine Sight undoubtedly has the best form among those to have raced previously having been narrowly beaten in maidens at Haydock and Epsom in his last two starts and he has solid claims but the faster ground today may not suit the son of Cape Cross so it may be worth taking a chance with the newcomer PASCHENDALE, who gets the vote ahead of First In The Queue. Sylvester Kirk's colt showed improved form on his latest start when chasing home Higgy's Ragazzo in a Chepstow maiden and he has to be respected following that effort. Michael Bell's Mont Agel made a pleasing debut in a Yarmouth maiden last month and, with Jamie Spencer booked again for the ride, he is sure to be thereabouts at the finish. Alan King¿s Henry San has run well on both starts so far and should not be inconvenienced by the faster ground today so he has to be considered, while Andrew Balding's Guidecca Ten ran well enough in a Sandown maiden on his debut and cannot be ruled out on his second start. Preference though is for Saeed Bin Suroor's Paschendale, who takes the eye on breeding being a son of Refuse To Bend out of a King's Best mare and, with the stable having done particularly well with their juveniles this season, he may be worth chancing first time up.
