Verdict
MORESCO returns to the turf today and makes the selection here ahead of fellow returnees Souter Point and Bruton Street. The three-year-old colt was last seen racing at Leicester in September of last year, running well and despite coming in sixth of 13 is not one to give up on. Walter Swinburn has a good record with three-year-olds and Moresco cannot be over looked. Three-year-old Souter Point shaped with plenty of promise on his debut in a Sandown maiden back in August of last year but failed to follow up at Newbury at the last time of asking where he showed himself to be a little one-paced. The colt has been off the track since then but should make the money here mediocre company. Bruton Street has one career start to his name that was back in October, the colt finished behind the selection there and may struggle to get ahead of him here too. With little here for backers to go on the market is best checked but we tip Moresco for victory.
