        Verdict

        NOCTURN was an unlucky loser on his reappearance at Lingfield but made no mistake here two weeks ago. He only won by a short-head but is on an upward curve and an extra 3lb shouldn't prevent a third career victory. Flexible Flyer's best form so far has been over 7f but O'Gorman has to be respected after a string of placed efforts and both Ashpan Sam and Links Drive Lady will have come on for their reappearances behind the selection. Lexi's Hero has become disappointing, however, and Piazza San Pietro still looks too high in the weights.
