Verdict
No question that the selection here has to be Financial Future, who beat six previous winners when finishing second at Kempton on his seasonal reappearance. Likely to make the running, he seems game and genuine and with the extra furlong likely to suit he is taken to score. Gold Medallist could be the value to chase him home. His third in a Salisbury maiden in October was nothing special, but with stamina in his pedigree he should get every yard of this 10 furlongs and could make the frame again. Santa Sophia should also be involved. With John Dunlop's yard going well at this stage, the filly can put a disappointing final run last year behind her and if she gets the trip then she should be thereabouts. Skye's Folly and Lady Hibernia both have a fair bit to find on what we have seen so far, but improvement is anticipated and they could be ones to note for the future.
