Verdict

DASCHAS has been handled with typical patience since joining Stuart Williams and repaid the kindness with a second career success when proving too good for the prolific Captain Lars on the Chelmsford all-weather back in February. He is a lightly-raced sort who has only ventured on to Turf on two occasions but indicates that he has scope for considerable improvement, unlike the majority of his far more exposed rivals. Delagate This Lord looks a worthy adversary after a solid effort behind Dougan in a competitive Bath handicap last month and will relish underfoot conditions. Open Wide and Angel Of Darkness head the weights and, though both make their seasonal reappearance, they are more than capable of taking a hand at the business end if ready to go.
