      Verdict

      John Flint’s ALASKAN JEWEL went in at juicy odds at Bath having gone well previously when fresh and the trainer has waited a month before returning his filly back to the racecourse. Pepsi Cat beat some fairly exposed sorts at Ripon and the handicapper has been fair in allocating just a 4lb rise for that success. Rainbow Mirage was unfortunate in running on her latest visit to Windsor while Port Noir has gone close on recent forays over 6f and cannot be ruled out of matters.
