    Verdict

NIGHT ARC got loose before the start at Salisbury last month and was beaten a neck by Tartan Chief. He’s only a pound better off with the winner but could take his revenge if on his best behaviour today. Uncs had excuses when behind South Audley at Newmarket and may see out this trip better than his old rival. New Pursuit beat Whitefeathersfall on debut at Epsom and is better off at the weights, though was disappointing at Newmarket subsequently.
