Verdict

Good Earth posted a better effort when third here last week and should confirm running with Hares Rocket. But IRISH ACCLAIM made a promising debut over course and distance a fortnight ago and Clive Cox’ colt gets the vote to open his account with normal progress. Ecclesiastical and Jochi Khan look likely to improve but the remainder with experience are harder to recommend while both Smokey Bear and Old News have middle-distance pedigrees and Timon is preferred of the newcomers.
