In depth

Verdict

This looks wide-open but Lawn Ranger is interesting as he appeared to be coming to hand when third over a longer trip here two weeks ago. SWEET REWARD had favourite Curtiz well behind when scoring in a big field at Goodwood in the autumn. Nothing went right for Hughie Morrison’s charge that day but his old rival has had the benefit of a couple of runs this term and may confirm the form and reverse last month’s Newbury running with Carp Kid.
