        Verdict

        In this maiden, Gongidas is selected ahead of Velocity's Gift and Sunburn. Beaten a whisker by the very well regarded We'll Come at Yarmouth last time, Gongidas is taken to score here. There is not too much in the way of solid form based on many of the others to have seen the racecourse, although Velocity's Gift's second to Zaahid at Newbury last time was a fair effort and Sunburn and Victory Mile are among those that should prove better than their debut efforts. Once again, though, the selection is Gongidas.
