        Verdict

        Pious is given another chance to prove her Newbury running all wrong. She had previously finished just behind Baralinka at Southwell and that filly went on to finish a close up fourth in a hot handicap at Headquarters. Just in front of her at Newbury was Love Thing, who then went on to win at Doncaster on Saturday. Faiza may find this surface too slow for her and Grizel, three times a winner on the sand, looks too high in the handicap for what she has achieved.
