    Verdict

New Show has failed to figure in a couple of subsequent outings since scoring over track and trip in April when narrowly beating C'Est No Mour. The latter found one too good again at Newmarket last time while Get Back Get Back won at Doncaster earlier though never figured off today’s higher mark at York on his latest outing. Global Art also won on his penultimate start when successful over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton and an apprentice’s allowance helps the latter’s cause today but YOU’RE HIRED will be sharper for last month’s reappearance at Newmarket and Amanda Perrett’s charge gets a tentative vote back over this longer trip on last year’s narrow-margin defeat at Ascot.
