Plym's run in the first division of this should be a good pointer to Fire Ship's chances as Peter Winkworth's charge was runner-up to the Hannon filly at Salisbury last time. Four Better is plunged straight into a handicap after winning a Polytrack maiden but is open to further improvement, while Amelia May ran her best race so far at Newmarket last time and is eased in grade here. DRUMMOYNE has already had six starts but has shown ability in much stronger company than this and is 6lb lower than when fourth over 7f at Sandown in August. The step up to a mile could suit and Mark Johnston's gelding gets the nod in an open-looking finale with Loxton Lad possibly best of the rest.
