In depth

Verdict

SWAYZE landed a gamble dropped back down to the minimum trip at Haydock and returning the clear winner. He may well defy a 7lb rise but Dream Composer failed to cope with a 4lb rise at Goodwood last time having landed a double before that. The latter beat Equality on more favourable terms at Ascot last autumn while both Bedford Flyer and Fernando Rah drop down in class and Isle Of Lismore went close at Newmarket last time.
