Verdict

BULLINGDON’s latest third at Doncaster was franked when the winner went close in a more competitive affair at Ascot next time. He looks the one to beat in this ahead of Easy Tiger, who has run well twice over 7f this summer despite winning over 1m2f on the all-weather over the winter. Simpson could be an interesting contender as he won a nursery over track and trip last autumn and was running quite well in higher grades in the spring. Employer has also won over track and trip but Salt Whistle Bay needs forgiving a poor run at Sandown when last seen.
