Verdict

Little went right for CARADOC (NAP) on a return visit to Newmarket last time and he finished a neck behind Dark Red. Granted better luck in-running here, Ed Walker’s lightly-raced gelding can reverse those placings and get back to winning ways with the booking of Oisin Murphy an obvious plus. Allegiant has proved hard to place and steps up a couple of grades for this while Loch Ness Monster never looked like winning at Redcar on Saturday. But Lawn Ranger is bidding for a hat-trick of course and distance victories and Rotherwick is only a pound higher than when successful over track and trip last year so can’t be ignored.
