In depth
Verdict
SHANGHAI ROCK posted his best effort so far when beaten less than a length over today’s trip in the soft ground at Catterick. He should make a bold bid in this company on that evidence. Bomb Squad is 5lb higher than when scoring over track and trip in August though an apprentice’s allowance helps his cause today while Alone Time has won a maiden over the minimum trip at Bath but has yet to figure in handicaps. Cuban Fox drops down in trip and Bama Lama may prove best of those handicapping for the first time.
