        Verdict

        Alec Voikhansky steered PINPOINT to a comfortable victory at Bath and, despite stepping up a furlong, it would be no surprise to see the top weight defy a penalty in another modest nursery. Monks Mead won at a huge price over 7f at Lingfield but he’s run three times over this trip and finished last each time. None of the others make much appeal on the little they’ve shown so far.
