        Verdict

        A poor event with a number of out of form and moderate rivals in which few can be seriously considered at the weights. Naviasky has been disappointing over hurdles recently but would have excellent claims if able to reproduce the form of his placed efforts off marks of 65 and 70 in handicaps last season. Sharp Secret has a theoretical chance at the weights but Mark Johnston's filly missed all of last season and showed nothing on her belated return at Southwell last month. Both Archon and First Eagle have held their form on the all-weather of late but have something to find on these terms so Naviasky looks worth chancing to bounce back.
