Verdict
Most are in a struggle for form but SON AND SANNIE houses some positive credentials and gets the nod. A dual winner at the trip in May, he's been far from disgraced subsequently, including when only beaten under a couple of lengths at Brighton this month. Trip and ground will suit and a mark of 74 remains workable for Archie Watson to deal with. La Roca Del Fuego finished well ahead of the selection at York last month but that came in a large-field contest confined to jump jockeys and the form may not be totally trustworthy. Nevertheless, he remains one of the more likely ones. Treacherous and Coronation Cottage are respected from polar ends of the weights and The Princes Poet would have a say if bouncing back for his in-form yard.
