Lutine Charlie won at Wolverhampton in July and followed up for new connections at Brighton. He didn't run badly from out of the handicap here last time and has claims back on his correct mark. Catchanova is a C&D winner but has been well beaten in two starts since winning an amateurs' race at Goodwood in August while Cyril The Squirrel let supporters down at Salisbury last time, though did finish ahead of Catchanova. Valley Queen was a fair fifth at Bath on Friday but she'll be doing well to get the better of EVER FORTUNE, who has much more scope. He was having only his second run when getting up close home over 7f at Redcar in August. Though there's an extra furlong to cover here and the ground will be much more testing, Rae Guest has done well with similar types in handicaps and Richard Hughes rides.
