Verdict

A trappy open sprint but GO ON GO ON GO ON has landed two of five starts and looks on a workable mark on this first joust against her elders. She was always travelling best when obliging at Bath earlier this month and has only been hoisted 3lb by the assessor. There's surely more to come from the Medicean filly and Adam Kirby rides this track extremely well. Ruth Carr's runners continue to perform well and course and distance winner, Foxtrot Knight, should make the journey from Yorkshire worthwhile by taking home some prize money and rates the prime danger on the evidence of runner-up efforts the last twice, including when only succumbing by a head at this track on his penultimate start. Ron Harris is doubly represented by the useful pairing of Majestic Hero and Nocturn, whilst Bouclier has already won three times this year but has yet to oblige at this level and may also find this trip a little sharp.
