Verdict
There is not much to go on here but, from a shortlist containing Archon Star, Prince Rama, Beckett Hall, Life Peer, Secret Assassin and Crooner, we will side with Archon Star. Unless the market throws up big negatives, Archon Star might be worth taking a chance on here. There is plenty to like about his breeding and, with Philip Robinson booked, he will not lack for ability in the saddle. Of course, the Brian Meehan-trained, Prince Rama, seemingly the better of his two runners, Richard Hannon's Beckett Hall, Marcus Tregoning's Life Peer, and the Willie Muir pair, Secret Assassin and Crooner, all have something very likeable about them. In a race, then, that should ultimately produce a few winners, the market will provide you with some kind of guide but, for us, the vote goes to Archon Star.
