In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to drum up much enthusiasm for any of these. It’s a long time since Perfect Symphony ran on going this soft but he was placed on heavy ground as a two-year-old and usually runs his race – Paddy Bradley’s claim should help. Swanton Blue drops down a grade and is another to consider while Dansepo sprang a 66/1 surprise on heavy going in a novice event at Leicester and is the least exposed. FIELD OF VISION was also second on heavy going at Leicester two weeks ago and is now 21lb lower than at the start of the season. He should be going better here, though recent course and distance third Just An Idea looks a threat.
