In depth

Verdict

Cardaw Lily and Angel of The South finished behind Out Of The Flames at Ascot so connections of that pair will be hoping for a big run from that one in the opener. Elysium Dream was very green at Lingfield but noted staying on and is certain to improve on that run today. There are, however, a couple of nicely-bred debutantes in this with Godolphin’s Dubawi filly, DATHANNA, preferred to Angel Islington, who is a half-sister to four winners.
