Cape Islay was successful over 1m4f at Chester earlier while Gallic and Spanish Aria attempt today’s distance for the first time. Junderstand has a shout on a recent second at Leicester and Geizy Teizy is not out of this either now handicapping for the first time but it could pay to stick with BIRDCAGE WALK in an open contest. The latter made a winning debut in handicaps when beating a subsequent winner over today’s trip at Nottingham and Hugo Palmer’s filly gets the vote with further progress expected.
