Verdict

The Malcolm Saunders-trained MATTEROFACT is 5lb higher than when successful at Chepstow last month but he won with plenty in hand that day and, provided that the ground does not dry out too much, can follow up here. George Margarson's Imaginary Diva is only 1lb higher than when beating Doctor Hilary by a head over course and distance at the beginning of the month so has to be respected, while Scottish Glen has more to do than when getting the better of Green Velvet on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time. Sylvester Kirk's Elhamri looks to be going the right way and is another worthy of a mention along with Paul Howling's White Shift but Matterofact has solid claims after that win last time and can score again.
