In depth
Verdict
Lake Verdi would have a chance if somewhere near his juvenile form. He has been dropped two pounds since his run at Salisbury, and while he stays six-furlongs, this trip suits him just as well. Course and distance winner Princess Sofie, should not mind the underfoot conditions,as she is by soft ground sire Efisio. Noble Nick, may not want the ground too soft and is far from certain to confirm Thirsk running with Welsh Emperor. Sister In Law looks sure to go well off a light weight, but a chance is taken with the maiden Telesto, who was unlucky in running at Nottingham.
