Verdict
The market will reveal plenty but Jeremy Noseda has won this race with two of his stronger fancies in recent years so a chance is taken with ALFONSO THE WISE ahead of Court Circle and Pekan Three amongst others. Sixties Icon and Checklow, who didn't go on as anticipated, have been the two recent Noseda winners of this maiden and Alfonso The Wise stepped up on his sole juvenile start when a close third over course and distance earlier in the month and he's entitled to come on for the run. Stoute runners in maidens at the track are always respected and Court Circle is no exception whilst Pekan Three shaped promisingly in a Newmarket maiden that is working out well and should come into his own over middle distances this term. Best Of Broadway and Sunny Game may be able to step up on their debuts and reward each-way support with both strings running well whilst Hierarch and Grey Bunting are others names to throw into the hat but Alfonso The Wise may be the answer.
