Verdict

City Gent has already been gelded but has a nice pedigree and an entry in a valuable sales race at Doncaster later in the season. He must have been showing something at home and looks a contender in a race for newcomers in which the market will probably be the best guide. But the interesting one is KEYNOTE, brother to last year’s Woodcote Stakes winner Legendary Lunch and a half-brother to three others winners – he cost 85,000gns at Tattersalls in April. Richard Hannon’s Strategic is a half-brother to five winners but may just find 6f on the sharp side.
