Verdict
This looks a very competitive handicap with Anythingtoday looking to go one better than over course and distance five weeks ago. Dingle won at Lingfield the last time he raced over this trip but he’s disappointed the last twice and Danville failed to follow up a victory over a mile here when unplaced at Bath. JEWEL IN MY CROWN has been edging up the weights without winning but was given far too much to do last time at Sandown and may be worth another chance. Silver Gunn looks held on the form book but Splendent beat a couple of subsequent winners at Newcastle in the autumn and looks fairly treated on his handicap debut.
