In depth

Verdict

More can be expected of Phi now that he has got the benefit of a run behind him, but Eva Soneva So Fast has improved with each run so far and is selected to show them all the way home today. Zeena and Hoh My Darling are others to bear in mind when the betting opens, as both are entitled to respect on the limited evidence available. Kinrande is an interesting newcomer to note in running and he can be found a race somewhere along the line if he has inherited any of the ability possessed by members of his family to have raced previously. However, Eva Sonva So Fast sets a fair standard and looks to have been found a good opening for him to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking. He holds obvious claims at the weights today but is already on a mark of 80, so handicaps could be a problem for him after this.
