Verdict

Plenty with a shout in a competitive sprint including Lake Volta, who has gone close for Mark Johnston’s in-form yard the last twice. Looks A Million was narrowly beaten at Chester last time while Koditime made a winning return at York with Joegogo and Dotted Swiss behind and should be in the mix once again. Midsummer Knight ran well at Newmarket last week but was beaten by COWBOY SOLDIER (NAP) in novice company at Newcastle earlier. The latter just failed to win again under a penalty at Bath last time and gets the vote now handicapping for the first time.
