      Verdict

Abate’s earlier double came on fast ground but it was soft going when SPOOF won over track and trip back in April. The latter has won at Ascot subsequently and drops back down in class for this. May Sonic returns to the Turf on a winning mark but both Blind Beggar and So Smart have poor strike rates though the latter acts on the ground.
