In depth

Verdict

Mustajed is taken to beat Multicultural, Woolfall Blue and Punta Galera in a fairly open handicap. There are certainly many in with a shout here, so only a small vote of confidence is given to Mustajed who will at least be fitter for what was his third outing of the year at Newcastle in March. A three-length second to Esthlos then, this relatively lightly-raced sort showed enough to suggest that he can pay to follow this term. Multicultural is also open to improvement, but it is difficult to weigh up what he achieved when scraping home in a Wolverhampton maiden, so he may be best watched on his handicap bow, while Woolfall Blue seems a better horse when allowed to dominate, and that might not happen here. Punta Galera will be fitter for the run, as will Del Mar Sunset, so we return to Mustajed as the answer.
