Verdict

Soft ground will hold no fears for Uphold, who won off a higher mark at Salisbury last summer. He clearly didn't stay 2m1f at Wolverhampton last time and that run can be safely ignored. But it could be worth taking a chance on the fitness of NAVE, who was holding his own in much better company last year. This trip may be on the sharp side but his proven stamina could come into play on the ground and he's 3lb lower than when just touched off at Doncaster exactly a year ago today. Megalala holds no secrets from the handicapper and Big Creek continues to disappoint but Aldwick Bay has ability and Looking On is lightly-raced and should be winning soon.
