    Verdict

    Guards Chapel made a winning return to action when successful at Kempton last week. But he has a penalty to carry today and with a 5lb claimer taking over the reins on runner-up SCRIBE, the latter is fancied to take his revenge. David Evans' charge won at Southwell earlier this month and is also preferred to recent winner Hoonose, who picked up a seller at Lingfield last time. Baan was beaten only a length over course and distance in January and could prove best of the remaining trio.
