Verdict

Silence Is Bliss is closely matched with Kissing Clara on these terms and both have claims of picking up this prize but ready preference is for SOVIET SPRING. Andrew Balding's charge failed to justify a prominent position in the market on debut but he has progressed with each start since then and wasn't beaten too far at Kempton over six furlongs last time. The step back up in trip coupled with the drop in grade may be sufficient to see him open his account. Bill Turner has picked up this race a couple of times in recent years and David Probert is an interesting booking for Lady Prodee who is from a family that the trainer knows well. She is well worth considering along with the likes of Pick A Little and Yorketa.
