        Verdict

        Impassioned is speedily-bred so a step up in trip may not be the answer, though she sports cheekpieces for the first time. Alice's Dream is tried in blinkers, despite getting off the mark in a seller over course and distance a month ago. LIFE ON MARS makes more appeal as she's dropped in grade. William Haggas' filly started favourite at Yarmouth last time and wasn't beaten far. She'd run well previously at Chelmsford so should handle this surface. Western Presence was only beaten a short-head at Newcastle last month but has been raised 4lb since and also has an extra furlong to cover.
