In depth

Verdict

Shelford is only 1lb higher than when scoring over 1m6f at Yarmouth while Scottish Boogie scored over the same distance at this track in November and can also figure. Layline is another to consider in a tight handicap having won over course and distance recently but LEXINGTON BAY is just preferred. He's back on a winning mark and a repeat of his third in a higher grade race at Ripon last year would be good enough to land this. Eshtyaaq has been running well in lesser company, but Sherman McCoy looks high enough in the weights at present.
