Verdict

Jamie Osborne tries Hardy Black in a first-time visor after a couple of poor runs following a narrow defeat over a mile at Kempton. Al Muheer has become disappointing and was beaten in a similar contest here last week but Prime Exhibit scored at this level at Lingfield on New Year's Eve though that was over a mile, which is his best trip. Silly Billy rarely runs away from Southwell these days where he's been in poor form, but the three-year-old Doppler Effect was staying on over 6f here last week and should be suited by the extra. YAIR HILL (NAP) returned from a long break to make a successful all-weather debut over 6f here a month ago and though beaten subsequently the race wasn't run to suit and he's well enough treated to return to winning ways.
