      Verdict

Seven Clans won over track and trip early last year and won again at Newmarket in August. He’s 7lb higher on his reappearance while Akkadian Empire is a more recent winner here but has struggled subsequently. Scrutiny has been running well over a mile but stays this far and better is expected from former Ballydoyle inmate Barca having undergone a recent wind operation. MUSIC MAJOR (NAP) could only manage fourth over a mile last time but won over 1m2f at Lingfield in November and Mike Attwater’s charge gets the vote on that form reunited with winning partner Luke Morris.
