Verdict

Bath winner Sondeduro should have no problem with this longer trip and is one for the short-list, while Tingo In The Tale won over 1m3f on heavy ground at Lingfield last month and also appears to have plenty of stamina. Venegazzu, second at Newcastle in May, and bottom weight Cool Hand Luke both wear a visor for the first time and are others worthy of consideration while Bob's World and Ogaritmo have already won around here, as has UKRAINIAN. Mark Johnston's gelding has run two sound races on the Polytrack and can be forgiven his run on rain-softened ground at Musselburgh last month - he gets the nod.
