Verdict
Celtic Sultan has only appeared on the artificial once before where he made all before weakening towards the finish. Similar tactics are likely today and a similar result is suggested. Sweet Clementine won on the Polytrack at Kempton over a mile last time but only won by a nose and up 4lbs in the ratings will struggle to repeat the success here. Baby Strange is rated 5lbs higher on the turf and with good reason; he has never shown any level of ability on the all-weather. Mark Johnston has a good record here but Hajoum has disappointed of late and isn't certain to favour a return to Polytrack. SEEK THE FAIR LAND will relish a return to this surface having gained all five of his wins on the all-weather. He gets the vote off a realistic weight for this contest. Dance And Dance may be a little high as his last win came off 6lbs lower in the ratings whilst Medicean Man is one win from one run here but the trip isn't ideal.
