CAROLINE DALE has been competing over the minimum trip so far this year but placed in last year’s Princess Margaret at Ascot the last time she raced over today’s distance and gets a speculative vote on that form. Nelson Gay and Royal Birth are others stepping back up in trip while El Hombre is usually thereabouts at this level but hasn’t raced since February.
