Verdict
Piccolo Prince has plenty in his favour here and he is taken to get the better of Trinculo and Midmaar. The selection has been knocking on the door on his last two starts and although he is probably better over 6f, he is well-drawn today and he looks to have a solid chance of getting his head in front. Trinculo is an obvious danger as he wasn't beaten far when finishing fourth behind Twinned last time. The form of that race has worked out well and from a fair draw Trinculo will not be far away at the finish. Midmaar won a banded stakes race last time and he is clearly in good heart at present but he has never won over this trip before so for that reason we will take him on. Carcinetto has been running well of late and is another to consider from a fair draw but for the winner we are happy to return to Piccolo Prince.
