Verdict
Several of these have claims but MUSTARRID finished behind a subsequent winner when third at Kempton on his racecourse debut and gets the vote on that form despite dropping back in trip. Cosmic Boy was beaten only a nose over a mile at Lingfield and Mr Coco Bean went close over the same distance at Newcastle before disappointing at Musselburgh. Vanderbilt has the edge over Espresso Freddo on handicap ratings with both placing over 7f last time and the former sporting first-time headgear today.
